My favourite places in my childhood

When I was a child, my dad took me every weekend to different places (sometimes they repeated but I didn´t bother me). In addition, I won’t say that I remember all of those, so I´m going to talk about those I remember the most (and I return until today)
One of my favorite places in life was the Artequin Museum, it placed next to the Quinta Normal Park. I personally think that it is a place to visit once, because his tour was always the same, I mean, in that route you have to see a movie about a ballerina statue in the museum (like the picture) who becomes alive in the and talks to the different paintings and his stories.

Other place near of the Artequin was the Santiago´s Library, and I remember that I spend many time reading books in those cones in the section of children’s. I don´t really remember that I used the computer (because I was very shy).
My last favorite place in mi childhood was the Plaza Brazil (in that time I called “La plaza del volcán”) because it is a perfect place to children, I think it was because of the didactics playgrounds like a volcano, and a weird mixture of hands and a snail (I just called that place snail).  I remember that I spend all the day climbing that (even that it was very dangerous), definitely that place gave me many scars in my knees.

Reading

I’m not a reading person, but I remember reading “The Lost Symbol” by Dan Brown. This is a thriller and a sequel for his most famous book “The Da Vinci Code”. This book is about a professor and iconographer called Robert Langdon, who has to travel to Washington DC to resolve the death of a personal friend, who was murdered by a secret reason and his body was leaved in a specific location whit a specific posture. However, the murder was a person who was obsessed to being the perfect person (to become a god), also he was an ex mason, so he started to get inked in all the spaces in his skin with different every symbol of the world, when he was almost finished he realized that it was missing one. And only the masons knew it. By the end, this guy suicided himself to dispose of his body to becomes perfect, but he never founded the real secret symbol. And I couldn´t end the book because the symbol was just a normal phrase about religion and all the mystery of the book died with this ...

Something that I enjoyed in school

When I was in my 3rd years in secondary school, I had to choose one of the five electives in school. Therefore, I picked one called Bachillerato de Humanidades, and one of the subjects was Literary English. I remember that was taught by a person who we called Flanders (like the Simpson´s character), just because he was always wearing sweaters and glasses, and because he used to have a mustache. His personality was a little different to the character personality, he was always cheerful and making jokes. I think that I liked that subject most by the teacher and his willingness, because in all the year that the course he wanted to we learned well, so he always was in the stand to help. Also, I liked the topics that we deal with (tales, poems, music and plays), so we read various interesting texts. One of the things that was harder for me, was interpreting poems and music, because I´m not really good interpreting people so it was going to be harder to do it with someone you don´t k...

My ideal job

I didn´t really thought about my ideal job. I don´t really like to think about the future because I always get in panic, but since I was a kid I always liked to draw and I think that the job that I would enjoy is illustration (obviously after been architect). Since I was very young, I always liked to draw very different things, and I always admire those people who can share his art and continue progressing in his skills and own worlds. The job is about what it says in the name, many people work illustrating many things and the principal means is in books. Few years ago, I meet someone who is an illustrator and it doesn´t need to have a hard study to do it. I mean that you could have the studies (or a career) in other area and if you are able to understand the message and the content of the thing you want to illustrate, you can do the job. I refer that because the illustrator I meet was a teacher and now she´s working illustrating children´s book. I think that the biggest re...
